5 EASY WAYS TO KEEP CORONA AWAY
Covid, corona, everywhere, every house, every individual…
Globally prevalent pandemic, hard to believe that each and every house is impacted by the disease. Every individual is affected, one way or the other.
Soon corona era will be over, leaving us aghast, by the loss of many of our near ones, friends, relatives, neighbors. The meaning of life will change for all.
BLESSING IN DISGUISE
Giving more thought to the disaster, it looks like a blessing in disguise. Must be wondering to know-how.
No loss is irreparable, no loved one will come back. Someone has lost a mother, father, or both, some have lost a sister or brother, a loving friend, and whatnot, then how can it be a blessing?
We were taught many lessons in school. If I try to recall, so many moral stories, Mathematical sums, History, Geography, and many more flashes in front of my eyes.
This Covid era is adding few many more learnings to whatever we have learned in our life. Terms are the same, immunity, antibodies, distancing, protection, etc., but we need to learn them in a different manner, and this is how;
I. IMMUNITY
Though we have learned a lot since last year, about immunity, a number of spices, being ignored, not ever been used in junk food-driven kitchens, are being ingested on the daily basis. What is driving us to eat all that stuff?
We are on a drive to build immunity to remain protected against corona.
I might not be the next to have symptoms!
My family shouldn’t catch this nasty virus!
Fear of getting sick is driving us nuts to ingest anything to build immunity. We need to actually immune ourselves from fear, stress, and negativity to remain healthier.
FEAR is the first factor we need to immune ourselves from. Need of the hour is, when we all are aware of the disease, its prevalence in almost every human, in every house, we need to immune ourselves from fear. Panic is only worsening the conditions. Without panic, if we learn to take care of ourselves and the person infected at home, things can be solved in a better and easier manner.
STRESS
Stress is a part of today’s digitalized lifestyle, from children to
adults all are stressed over one thing or the other. We all are in habit of having stress even on trivial matters. Corona pandemic has another reason to keep us stressed. A stressed person can never decide wrong or right and is not able to guide his own mind. When physical immunity is at risk mental immunity needs to be built first by staying away from unnecessary tension.
NEGATIVITY
People are dying, numbers are increasing, but so is the number of recovered people increasing. Positive data, positive thoughts can only save us from calamity. Let us talk more about beautiful nature, about beautiful people around us, our achievements, rather than being depressed and sad about the calamity.
II. NUTRITION
Every person, every news channel, every whatsapp group is flooded with videos about nutrition, what we need to eat before, during, or post corona. No doubt food is the only thing after oxygen and water we need to live. And to build immunity healthy food is playing utmost importance. I am not going to suggest you a list of superfoods to include to fight this deadly virus. An infected person should eat homemade, freshly cooked food to recover fast and some other foods for thought to nourish your brain and body.

Nourish your brain with good thoughts, healthy talks, good discussions, sharing jokes, reading good books, playing games with family members.
III. HYGIENE
Corona has taught us how to maintain cleanliness, how to keep corona away by washing hands with soap every now and then. Hands are made clean from any kind of virus, did you try to detox yourself from rumors, negative news, dirty politics.
IV. DISTANCING
Maintain distance is the commonly used statement to keep us away from the spread of the virus. This era has taught us the importance of family. Recognize your true friends who stayed there during bad phases of life, not those who were there when things were favorable for you. Distance yourself from selfish people and stay connected to real friends.
V. ANTIBODIES
Everybody knows vaccines will make antibodies in our body to fight against the virus. It means we can’t inject antibodies, these are only generated in the body by themselves. Do we need antibodies against the prevalent disease only? No, we do need antibodies to fight against fear, stress, negativity, failure, death, and much more. Our body should not be weak enough to wait for any vaccine to build antibodies but should have all strength to have antibodies to fight against all kinds of disasters.
